I take half and half in my coffee…nothing sweet so can’t tell you about black coffee. However this is something that you can sprinkle over a salad or disguise in a flavored drink. You don’t have to consume in the morning ..whenever it is convenient.

I've been using Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, Unflavored for a year now and saw a significant difference in my hands within the first few weeks. They look moisturized all the time. I went off it for six weeks and my hands looked a lot older and my nails began breaking again. I also have much less hair coming off in the shower.
It has zero taste and dissolves completely. I use two level tablespoons in my first cup of coffee every day. Available everywhere. Highly recommend.
Ive been taking Vital Proteiins annd also a similar one by Garden if Life for 4-5 years. About 50mg oer day to increase my daily protein for energy improvement. I try to gett approx. 70 mg protein a day. It definitely works for that. My skin, hair and nails are definitely improved. However, not my joints. I recently learned from "That Vitamin Movie" online docuseries that for joint improvement we want to look for protein powder sourced from bovine connective tissues and bones. VP and Garden of Life both source from bovine hides. That's probably why they are so awesome for the surface look, hair, skin etc. I just ordered my first bone and connective tissue sourced protein powder so cant comment yet on it. If its affects are as good as the hide protein powder, I should be arthritis free in a couple years. It takes time and consistency to see and feel results. I consume 4 scoops per day on average.
I buy the beef marrow bones and cook them all day with veges etc then blend veges in and give my dog the bones
He' a big dog
They are stuffed with marrow and it enters the broth
If you refrigerate it afterwards
The fat congeals to the top and can be removed
I leave alittle fat in it
You can tell it has lots of collagenbecause it's like jelly when it chills
Also chicken feet( if you can handle that) makes super collagen broth
And chicken wings too
@pitac, what brand did you buy of the bone & connective tissue sourced protein powder. I’d be interested to know. Thank you.
