Long Covid in daytime. Fine in evenings ?
Wondering if anyone else has this strange Long Covid symtom? I feel sick almost every day during daylight hours and then feel perfectly normal in the evenings starting around 4 to 5 pm for which I am so grateful. No major sleep problems. So confusing. Anybody else? Thanks so much.

@gregorb I would say my LC behaves in a similar way. I experience symptoms beginning at various times in the morning and then things seem to return to normal in the late afternoon/early evening. My symptoms can kick in immediately as I step out of bed or later in the morning, gratefully some rare days, not at all. I have read/heard of a working theory that your body recuperates while sleeping and that 'stored up energy/chemistry/whatever' ultimately runs out and symptoms set in. Best to you navigating this lousy situation.
My SOB and racing heart episodes are at night. Then in the morning, I have a headache, stomach bloating, fatigue, and ache all over. Then as the day progresses, I feel better. I learned that at night is when we produce the most histamine. Also, at night, is when we use the most Glutathione.
I too have this same pattern. My sleep is not great but better than a year ago. I never know how I am going to feel but fatigue is always much greater in the morning.
I make plans in the evening for what I am going to do in the morning—go to exercise class, go to the pool, do grocery shopping —and when morning comes I don’t do any of that.

Thanks for your reply and valuable info. Yes. I pretty much do the same thing with figuring the best timing for everything. The better nights seem to be fairly common. Best wishes to all of us.

Thanks for replying and the valuable info. Your reasoning makes sense. Thinking Long Covid needs to rest up too. Lol
