Long Covid and Neurological Symptoms

berber19, Can you be more specific as to what type of neurological symptoms you are referring too?

My daughter has been experiencing burning from her head to her toes for years. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the worse she is at best a 6 and at worse a 10. Seems to get worse with stress

She has not had any luck yet finding a fix or an improvement for it

Any advice?

The most common neurological symptoms in patients with Long COVID were ‘brain fog’ in 60% of patients, muscle pain in 42% and numbness or tingling in 41%. Non-neurological symptoms were fatigue (74%), sleep problems (46%) and anxiety (44%).

I am four years in to Long COVID and still have significant muscle pain, transient nerve tingling or stabs in my legs that worsen at night, extreme to mild fatigue every day, and some sleep disturbances with all of the previously noted symptoms.

HI..me too...lots of neurological issues since covid. I have had it three times..the last infection that I know of was september 2024. My blood pressure has been very high..blood pressure medications cause lots of side effects. Severe fatigue , headaches , dizziness, fainting, weakness. From fainting I wound up with a concussion and a traumatic brain injury. I am sure that the fainting in my driveway last march 17, has been the culprit in much of my symptoms. They cannot get my hypertension controlled. I have many other problems from my long covid, stomach problems..nausea and diarrhea and abdominal pain, chest pain and chest palipations. But on paper , I look good most of the time. The doctors do not know what to do with us , so they just prescribe another pill which causes more side effects. This has been going on since my first round of Covid in December 2021. I feel isolated as I have no social life anymore. I am glad we have connect so we can all stay in touch. Prayers to you.
