Welcome @shnancy, Sorry to hear that you have to deal with pain that has been worsening for the past 4 years. I have small fiber peripheral neuropathy but only have the numbness and some tingling which started in my late 40s in my toes but has now gotten into my feet and legs. I'm 83 now and do have to use a walker in the house at night for bathroom trips but so far I'm able to keep my balance during the day without one.

What has helped me the most was changing my lifestyle by trying to eat healthier along with a little daily exercise 4 to 5 days a week. If you haven't seen the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy website, they have a lot of helpful suggestions on living well with neuropathy - https://www.foundationforpn.org/living-well/.

Are you on any treatments for your pain?

Thanks Heisenberg. Last night was my first with a CBD/THC gummy and it worked great!
I slept THROUGH my neuropathy pain. I'm sold. The gummy in combination with 5% Lidocaine appears to be a great solution to, at least, my current problem.

@germone12345 Is there a certain "strength" to the gummy? Are you taking a drug as well? (If you have already mentioned that, I apologize. ) I'm taking Lyrica 150mg once in the morning, once in the evening. It keeps my neuropathy under control...barely.

Hi! My name is Ed. I've had peripheral neuropathy for about a year.
I'm 87 years old, walk 4 to 5 miles a day and really experience ankle and foot pain at night.
I go to balance and strength training twice a week plus aerobics at my local senior center. I use 5% lidocaine twice daily and have added 5mg thc/5mg cbd for sleep at bedtime.
So.....that's my story. I'll be looking for advice and solutions other folks have adopted that might work.

Thanks, Ed

@jacksonb1959
Hi jackson. The content of the gummy is 5mg thc and 5mg cbd. It works pretty well for me because the melotonin kicks in right away, and when I wake up late at nite the thc/cbd combo is still effective.
