Liver or sun spots
I have a light brown round spot on my neck that has been there for years.
I think it’s a liver spot. Can liver spots be darker around the outside of them

Hi @jellie, Liver spots, age spots, sun spots…basically all the same critters. They come on as we get older. Exposure to the sun can cause some of them to darken. I have a couple that are two-toned but confirmed that they are not cancerous by my dermatologist.
It’s important if you noticed changes with a liver/age/sun spot that you have it checked out with your dermatologist just to make sure you’re not dealing with a potential skin cancer lesion. Do you have annual derm cancer checks?
