My latest scan mar 13 gave an ambiguous result.
Because I haver fatty liver , it was recommended to have MRI. But I will have a liver biopsy because I can't have MRIs. Any out there have. A similar case.. We want to rule out liver met.

@jeshaw6801, did you have the liver biopsy? Any update?

Yes, the liver biopsy was done last Tuesday and yesterday I saw my 2nd opinion oncologist. Next week I see my original oncologist to hear his opinion and direction. The liver was positive for metastatic LMS. I am probably going to have chemo as a first step. I will have an opportunity to be in a clinical trial as well. I told the family this week. I will share with friends next week.

Thanks for remembering. Life is a blur right now. My friends and family are keeping me wonderfully cared for. My kids looked like deer in the headlights 🦌. The were okay with 90 day scans but now with chemo they are hit with the reality Mom is facing some tough times. I get a port next week and the following week and echocardiogram and a updated CT scan Monday and my first chemo on Thursday. I am going to receive the current standard of care for LMS. Doxorubicin and Tribectedin.

Hello....and best wishes to you on your chemo journey!! The side effects and results are as varied as the people being treated. There are some techniques to better cope with side effects, and hopefully you will get great support, care and love from your care team. My wife...under care at Mayo...was diagnosed with rLMS 2 years ago. She will have a liver biopsy next week, and hopefully good news. Our cancer experience is a roller coaster, as I'm sure you can attest to as well. Wishing you better days ahead!! 🌞💪
