Live online support group? Gynecological cancers? Endometrial cancer

The first time I logged into the Mayo clinic website, I easily found a link to a live support group for gyncological cancers, or perhaps it was specifically for endometrial cancer. I have looked a few times and have not been able to find it again. Can someone please help?

I am tagging @michellewalsh. She is a Mayo Clinic social worker in Jacksonville, Florida, who specializes in oncology and facilitates live support group sessions on Zoom for gynecological cancers. This group meets live on a monthly basis.

When these sessions are coming up you will see the information on the right side of your screen on Mayo Clinic Connect. @cindysj Is this the live session you are thinking of?

@cindysj I believe you are referring to the GYN Support Group-Women of S-Teal Jax, a monthly support group that meets on Zoom the 2nd Monday of each Month: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

Two people have suggested that I check out the live sessions out of Jacksonville Florida. I will do that. Thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate the help.

Thank you very much for your help. Two people suggested I must have been referring to the Jacksonville meeting. I appreciate that you sent the link. It makes it so much easier for me. These are hard times. But we are working to remain optimistic.

I am curious about this group. Does one have to be a Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville, FL patient to participate? I was treated in Rochester. Am also wondering about a friend who did not receive her treatment through Mayo. Could she attend, as well?

@gynosaur42, thanks for asking. I'm pleased to say ALL WELCOME.

To take part in the monthly Zoom meetings, attendees do not have to Mayo Clinic patients or patients of Mayo in Florida. Just like the forum here, all are welcome.

It's the mission of Mayo Clinic to provide information and support to all patients, no matter where they receive treatment.
