The Secret Suckiness of life after breast cancer. I love this article!!! It expresses so much of how I feel following diagnosis and now the continuing treatment for breast cancer! I know many of you on this site can relate! https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/2017/10/176194/life-after-breast-cancer-survivor-story

Life after being labeled a survivor can suck. Life while being labeled a Metastatic Breast Cancer patient…. Well that’s another kind of journey indeed.

I agree! However I am not sure I can make a distinction between the suckiness of breast cancer initially and MBC. It all sucks! Is this a new stage in breast cancer for you?

I was actually responding to the post that someone wrote about life sucking after a cancer diagnosis. It was not intended to be a response to your post.

Life sucking after a breast cancer diagnosis is the name of the thread, pretty much the whole discussion sucks. Lol. MBC is terminal but I don’t have a “best by date” stamped anywhere. I was talking about distinction between myself getting the initial diagnosis, and given an MBC diagnosis. They were both, very stressful and I would not wish them on anyone.

@raebaby i didn’t see any glamour shots posted yet. Lol. Did you try the vitamin D for the neuropathy? Did you notice a difference?

I just started K2 along with the D3. I do believe that there is a difference. I tried to drive today; it didn't go so well. I ended up with my car sideways on the driveway and I panicked so my son had to bring it back to the garage.

Keeping a sense of humor about these things will be important. I had this visual of my car sideways in my driveway. I will be praying for a better outcome next time. Any chance your son would drive you to a huge empty parking lot somewhere and let you practice with gas and brake?

That is a good idea! I live in the country and once out of my own driveway the road out to the highway is curvy and over a canyon with a drop. That's the way I learned to drive at 15, in the parking lot of the almond plant where my Dad worked..
