Left breast intermittent pain, male breast

Posted by ennaoj44 @ennaoj44, Jul 10 10:59am

Searching for cause & treatment for male, left breast pain above nipple. Have ruled out strain from exercise, etc. MRI negative. Pain is throbbing, sometimes sharp & lasts less than a minute several times a day during any activity, sitting, laying down, walking. It's just an interruption I want to solve. No diagnosis of cancer.

You didn't say if you have been to a cardiologist. I sure hope so. If you have been to one, maybe it is just a nerve.
Best to you!

Any chance of a bruised rib in that area? Does the pain get worse when you breathe in deeply? I had something like this awhile ago and was told that a bruise or fracture around the 5th rib can feel like breast pain.

Not on anything like spironolactone medication right? Other than cardiology check, potentially point to a sex hormone check such as estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, etc.

What medications do you take? and as others mentioned - hormone test is necessary in this case, along with cardio exam.
