Mayo Clinic will be hosting the monthly NETs Support Group on Thursday, May 4, at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. You need to register in advance in order to receive the Zoom link. Here is the information regarding the meeting and the registration:

Our next NETs virtual support group meeting will be held on Thursday, April 6, at 5:30 p.m. EST. This meeting is for all NETs patients and their caregivers.

Our guest speaker will be Steven Ames, Ph.D., Psychologist Hematology/Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Florida.

Hello All in the NETs discussion group,

This Thursday, February 2, at 5:30 EST, the Mayo Clinic NETs support group will be meeting via Zoom. There will be a sharing time for the last 45 minutes to talk together with the other members and share experiences.

In order to join the meeting, you will need to register in advance, and then the Zoom link will be sent to you. The meeting is facilitated by a Mayo Clinic Social Worker, Candace Porter.

There will be a webinar this Friday, December 9, 11 AM Pacific Time, featuring Mayo oncologist, Dr. Halfdanarson. The topic is "2022: Year in Review." You must register in advance to attend, and you can submit questions in advance. Whether you are new to NETs or have been a NETs patient for a while, I'm sure you will learn a lot. If you are new to this diagnosis or if you have journeyed for many years with NETs, please join us and share your experiences and concerns. There will be a speaker and then a time of discussion and support with others who. Please note that you do not have to be a patient at Mayo in order to join this meeting.

If your biopsy results show neuroendocrine cells, yes please join our group. As I mentioned in my post, you will need to register in advance in order to get the Zoom link. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

Does this have anything to do with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (small cell NEC) ?

The Neuroendocrine Cancer Zebras meet monthly on the first Thursday every month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Eastern time by the Florida campus of Mayo Clinic. You can join the meeting virtually using Zoom. Each meeting features an invited guest speaker. Topics include symptom and disease management as well as the emotional, physical, and financial impact of disease.
