Last PSA Number Before Cancer Diagnosis?
Would anyone mind sharing their last PSA number before they were diagnosed with prostate cancer?
It seems like PSA of 4.0 is the typical point where many are referred to Urologist. I'm wondering are most people getting diagnosed within the 4 - 10 PSA range.

1 Reaction16 years ago before I was diagnosed with PC, my PSA was 5.9. Eight month later it hit 8.7 and a 2nd biopsy finally found cancer.

Not sure that everyone knows about this, but you don't **have** to have a doctor order your PSA. You can order your own via JasonHealth:

I think so many people were doing that that Quest Labs is now in the same business. Except, PSA with JasonHealth is $15 and they send the order to Quest. Quest directly is $69.

1 Reactionpsa 4.25 when MRI and follow up psa test ordered. psa dropped to 3.24 but MRI showed PI-RADS 4 8mm lesion. Fusion biopsy found 3+4=7 in multiple cores.

2 ReactionsNo PSA results from before. 67.9 in mid October 2021 a week after diagnosis, 11.6 in early November 2021 after 2–3 weeks on ADT + Apalutamide, and undetectable since the beginning of 2022.
