Anyone had a large NET in the liver? What treatment did you have?

Has anyone had a large NET in the liver measuring 6 cm or more? What was the recommended treatment?

I am feeling fine. For a 2 week period in November I did have pain on and off in my upper abdomen and back. But it stopped and haven’t had any since. Now I ‘m glad I did because that’s why I went in and saw my Dr. Otherwise I still wouldn’t have any idea there was something wrong. It’s all so strange!

I appreciate you sharing more of your diagnosis journey, @cindypat1. I agree that pain was your friend. It led you to a doctor and then to a diagnosis. Many of us with a diagnosis of NET had no symptoms. Instead, we had an incidental finding, (we were having a scan or other procedure unrelated to NETs).

Is your appetite OK? Any digestive problems?

My appetite has been good and no digestive problems. Biopsy results showed probably primary is in midgut. But haven’t had any problems.
