Large calcification found in breast

A family member has a seven centimeter calcification in right breast that is not symmetrical. Doctor going ahead with biopsy. Anyone have experience with a similar situation. Maybe DCIS?

Yes. Results of biopsy are in. 12 tissue samples. All were benign.
She also saw a dermatologist who took a breast nipple biopsy. It was also non cancerous.
Much relief and appreciation of efficiency of major cancer center.

@claunch, so much relief I'm sure. I know the whole process, especially the waiting is stressful. Thanks for reporting back the good news. I commend you on taking care of your health.
