Lab tests

Has anyone encountered a lab making mistakes on the testosterone & PSA tests…..it was done at a different lab that we normally go to.

There are different assay methods for PSA, and the results are best compared with other results using the same method. The detailed report of your result should include the method used to do the test. I have also had problems with the order from the urologist incorrectly specifying the test needed by not specifying "ultrasensitive." I check the order now and make a point of also stating it to the lab when I check in.
