1. What is the best way to email lab results to our Uro Doctors?

If you mean to your current Dr at Mayo , then I send all my stuff through the portal.

@nddavid, I agree with @tuckerp. If you are a patient at Mayo Clinic, you can send your lab results through the patient portal.

I am a patient. But, don’t understand how you do it while logged into the portal.

if its a Dr you have seen in the last year then you go to send a message. click the medical question. If I remember if click on anything else then it doesnt get you to the Dr. list. A Dr you have seen should be in the list to send message to. Then in the send body you have an option for an attachment. I usually put my name and birth date on my attachments if it is not on there. They can take 2 or 3 days to respond.

If you are a Mayo patient you have access to portal. On the portal it will list your doctor. There is a message icon and you can select the doctor you want to message and compose. At the bottom of message is an icon to attach a document.

If you have your document saved by clicking on attach your documents will come up. Just double click on them and will be added to your message You can always scan your documents into your computer.

There is a medical information program where doctors can go on and retrieve medical information on their patients from other medical institutions who also belong to it. Not sure how it works but my Mayo Jacksonville doctors can see my medical records and test done at UFHPTI and vice versa.

@nddavid, how frustrating. To get help with using the patient portal, I recommend contacting Mayo Clinic's Concierge Services. They can walk you through the process.
