question about swelling after knee replacement, how long should the swelling continue and is there anything i can do.

I had a total knee replacement in 2021 and had swelling on & off for 18 months. My doctor said that was normal, and expect to take up to 2 years for healing. He said that it was because I was more active as I healed & just needed to elevate leg. So glad I did it.
