Kevzara and vaccinations.
I wonder what are the recommendations for getting the flu and Covid vaccines while we are taking Kevzara.
Any helpful considerations?

I take Actemra, but the recommendations are the same because both drugs work similarly. The vaccines are recommended, but they might not be as effective since the immune system is suppressed. I plan on getting both with some time between them.
Google says live vaccines are dangerous if you take Kevzara or Actemra, so these vaccines should be avoided:
Nasal spray flu vaccine (FluMist)
Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR)
Varicella (chickenpox) and zoster (The old shingles vaccine, not Shingrix)
Rotavirus
Oral polio
I had Covid shot after 18wks of Kevzara, no problems.
The recommendations are the same and we probably should still get the vaccines. I like that vaccines are "optional." Vaccines are still "encouraged" and are recommended for people on biologics but talk to your doctor because there might be some exceptions.
The only guidance I have received since being on a monthly Actemra infusion was to do a vaccine in the middle between infusions. Even that doesn't seem to matter that much anymore. I'm less reluctant to do a vaccine because I don't have the PMR flares like I used to. I still don't know definitively if a vaccine ever caused a flare or not but my rheumatologist said it was possible. For that matter, I don't know if any vaccine was effective or not.
I don't seem to get sick as much as I used to. When I get sick now ... I recover faster. I remember having marathon cold symptoms for months sometimes when I was on prednisone.
I have never tested positive for Covid. I started Actemra before Covid became an epidemic. Actemra didn't seem to add to my risk of Covid as was originally feared. My daughter had Covid and was afraid to be near me because she was afraid I might die because of being on Actemra.
