Just received PET Results have Biopsy tomorrow
Looks like I have cancer that started in my Lymph Nodes and has metastasized to my bones. It's in my back, my hip, and several ribs (so far).
I have no idea what to expect from here. Just looking to start a conversation or 2.

Welcome, @sobernsd. This is hard news to get. Have you talked with your doctor about the results of the PET scan yet? Or are these results you've just received through a patient portal? Do you know what type of cancer? Or type of lymphoma?

1 ReactionI have talked with my doctor. He's just my GP and doesn't really know much. I have a biopsy scheduled for tomorrow. Once they get the results, I'll be scheduled with oncology. I think it's NHL that's metastasized to my bones. But I won't know for sure until after the biopsy.

3 ReactionsBest of thoughts are with you. It’s hard waiting for test results. Be confident results are correct and if doubt get second opinion of original biopsy. You need peace of mind to make best decisions for treatment. Be strong.
