Hi
Were you diagnosed with Primary Cutaneous Extra- Nodal Marginal Zone B-Cell non-hodgins lymphoma way back in 1987? Was it 1 nodule on your forehead? Did you get it cut out? What do you mean several chemistry treatments? And I’m so happy to hear it’s been non active
for the last 10 years.
Thank you

Kind regards

Hello, I was just diagnosed with Cutaneous B-cell Lymphoma and wondering if anyone else has this and could share insights into what to expect. Only symptom I’ve had has been some bumps on skin. When biopsied they came back with this diagnosis. One on upper arm and one on lower back.

@koala6cancer Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Any new diagnosis can certainly leave us scrabbling for answers and support.

May I suggest you go to the "blood cancers & disorders" support group. In the search bar there, type in B Cell lymphoma and hit the magnifying glass. It will then list discussions and comments. Choose the discussions tab and you can see different things already in progress.

Hi @koala6cancer. Just popping in to add my welcome along with @gingerw to Mayo Connect. We have several members in the forum who have also been diagnosied with Cutaneous B- Cell lymphoma.
There are different forms of this type of lymphoma so treatments can vary from person to person as the need arises. Members are always willing to share their experiences and treatments. It can be so helpful to be able to talk with others who have a similar diagnosis. In my quick search of the conversations regarding CBCL, here are the results to the various disucssion. Please feel free to pop into any conversation and ask your questions.

What has your doctor discussed with you? Was the biopsy done at your dermatologist office? Have you been referred to an oncologist?

@loribmt
Hi Lori, my Biopsy was done through dermatologists office about 6 weeks ago. I had a small cyst like bump on my upper arm and a pair of same on my back. All came back with same result of primary cutaneous follicle center b-cell lymphoma (PCFCL). Such a shock! I had a MOHs surgery on my nose a few years back for basal cell carcinoma and thought when they asked me to come in that these would be more of the same. I have a referral to an oncologist for next Friday (4/29) where I expect I will learn more. Of course googled this and so have some basic info but not how this translates into treatments or anything else. I guess it’s fairly rare too.
Thank you for getting back to me, koala
