Just a note: Other health stuff besides lung cancer
Just wanted to say hello again to all of you. Have been having dental issues--not related to lungs, or anything related. Just problems with having a tooth crowned. The temporaries kept breaking int he evening, of course, and I was in and out of the dentist office so often, I feel like family. Anyway, I think we've got it now. Have been keeping up with the posts and just wanted you all to know you've not been forgotten and you stay in my thoughts and prayers.

@alamogal635- Good morning- Very glad that your teeth issues are straightened out! Enjoy your weekend
Thank you. Now I wait for a CT Scan of my chest and lungs in September. Try not to think of it too much. I feel so darned good. I'm sort of fearful that some cancer has returned--you know that sword of Damocles hanging over one's heard. Also comments heard and written that once you've had cancer it always comes back. That is my lurking fear. SO I try to go about my business and not let it surface too much. The specter looms however.
@alamogal635 I keep reminding myself that we can't change the outcome so the less "free rent" in our head that we give the "terrorist"* I feel improves our overall health. My next CT scan is late July and I've been pretty much able to keep the lurking fear at bay until about 2 weeks before unless someone specifically starts asking about it. (*The local doc here who had to break the news to me said that the good news is "we caught the terrorist in Afghanistan", meaning we caught it early. He was from the Mideastern and had a good sense of humor!}
