Jump in A1c level

My a1c has been around 5.3. My last test was 5.8. Why this jump? Tests were approximately 1 year apart. I’m stumped by this big change.

I think a lot of people would be *very* envious of an A1C of 5.8.

Perhaps more to the point, how do you feel? If you're over 60 and feel pretty good, you're a lucky person.

Remember, you're a human being, not a bunch of parameters.

My philosophy: Enjoy life while you can. Keep track of numbers, but don't be dominated by them.

Lucky, My A1C last year was 6.9, then down to 6.4 and now at 8.4
