It's the Aliens, I'm telling you, Aliens!

I had been hoping to get some kind of conspiracy theory going back in July, since so many other people seem to delight in doing that, and I was a bit bored. So I kind of threw the "space aliens" theory out there, to see if anybody might take the bait.

Well, nobody did.
Meanwhile, though, last night I started watching the Apple TV show, due to some high acclaim, called "Pluribus", created by Vince Gilligan who also produced (etc) the highly rated series "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul".
Well it turns out that this show centers upon (and this isn't really a plot spoiler, it's revealed 1/2 way through the very first episode) a world wide, (quasi-)viral pandemic initiated by, yes, aliens!
So, my goodness, it seems that my wacky imagination has been echoed by a formidable creative, who's invented a tantalizing mechanism for this to have taken place by a civilization some 600 light years distant!

OTOH, our illness is pretty much the same as CFS/M.E. which back in the day was referred to, amongst such names like "the yuppie flu", as "screenwriters' disease", for when it hit Hollywood, I guess!
So, perhaps somebody with LC around L.A. has been perusing this board, saw my post, and thought, "hmm...we could work with that idea"!
I know, I know, I'm really flattering myself here, but c'mon, humour me, people!
There are so darned many theories floating around about what causes this (these) highly mysterious illness(es), that I think we might as well add aliens to the mix.

Okay...it's getting past my bedtime.
