Itchy raised bumps that have been there for months?

Posted by anonymous222 @anonymous222, 3 days ago

It started off as just 1 tiny bump on the back of my leg, but then over a few months it has grown into a cluster of them. Kind of like a circle but not fully. They’re super itchy, not painful, and it hasn’t spread to anywhere else. I’ve tried looking at other skin conditions but nothing has matched what i have. I don’t have insurance for a doctor so I was hoping someone might have any suggestions on what it could be!

Hi,
That's too bad that you are having such a time with those bumps! I have no idea what they could be but they sound similar to bug bites like mosquito or spider bites. I used to get those a lot in the summer. I have a home remedy that my Mom used to put on them when I was growing up and it really helped. Those bites were itchy also and not painful either. I'm 79 and still use this remedy when I get a bite.

Take a slice of white bread or a white biscuit; (It has to be white.) Cut a size to fit over the bump. Soak the bread in whole milk; (not 1 or 2%). Squeeze the bread a little so it doesn't drip. Put it on a bandaid and put it on your bump. Leave it on overnight. It will naturally draw out any infection if there is any. It also feels very soothing and calms down the itching.

I hope this helps you a little. I'll say a prayer for you.

Depending on where you live you may be able to
afford a telemedicine with a dermatologist or
a dermatology physician assistant..

Put Caladryl on it. See if it sucks out or drains anything. Helps itch. Don’t pay over 6 bucks. Not a commercial.

I had some unexplained tiny bumps on my ankles years ago. Went to see a doctor and was told they were flea bites. Do you have pets? Eventually we fumigated our carpets and no more flea bites.
