Itchy ear with fluid! How bad is this?

I went to see an ear doctor prior to this to check my hearing (unrelated) and afterwards i experienced very dry ears, later they started getting itchy and fluid coming out. I got a wax blockage and i panicked and removed it since I didn't know you're not supposed to do that yourself. Now my ears are still very itchy with fluid coming out and this has ben going on for about a week now. Is this serious enough to see a doctor? I should mention I haven't tried to do much at home since I'm unsure if there are any methods that could help. I am also kind of stupid so I kept wearing earphones through this which I have now stopped after reading about it.. But I'm still unsure if this is serious, or if it will pass as long as I'm careful.
