Maybe try an otc antifungal like Lamisil for a week. Without improvement after a week, best to see a physician.

1 ReactionI had similar symptoms. Have you been to your ob/gyn? I was diagnosed with lichen sclerosis. If you're looking for more information on LS, the LSSN have a great website with lots of information. Good luck.
I’d probably get checked for yeast. Sometimes that can cause itching. Also, you might switch laundry detergent or toilet tissue to see if it’s an allergy.

1 ReactionThe person above has some good advice. It could be a yeast infection, Or something like lichen Which will cause the same symptoms. It could also be an allergy reaction to something you are using. Have you changed anything in your life has a company that you’ve been using for a long time has new and improved on this front of the container. These are a few things you need to check out. Do you have an allergy to a tree pollen? If you do the Kleenexes and toilet paper, you are using can cause problems. Believe me, I know. If you can use a cotton handkerchiefs to blow your nose and switch to Cottonelle toilet paper, If It is your tree allergy you will know within two days. Things will slowly get better.
Wish you the best doing your research to find out, but I also would make an appointment with your main doctor and ask for advice. Good luck
I had same problem a while ago - i went to the urgent care doctor, did a self-swab (or they an swab you) to find out I had multiple forms of candida or yeast infection. Got medication. It is gone. Going to the doc put off unnecessary discomfort and I got immediate treatment.
Likely a fungal infection... which commonly occur in areas that get warm, are covered, that may sweat, and trap moisture.
OTC antifungals can often take care of the prob... however, the recommended treatment is AT LEAST three weeks, with two applications per day. Less treatment may allow the infection to return shortly after, and result in a more recalcitrant pest. So please be patient.
Also note: there are several choices of OTC AF products... so be aware that one antifungal may work better than another for you.
Another tip: Try to keep the area dry and aired out (loose cotton clothing that will let the skin breathe). Once it's cleared, applying a corn starch (NO TALC) dusting powder, once or twice daily, in the surrounding area (not directly on any private part / tissue) may assist in absorbing moisture as well.
If the prob persists, do see your GP.
All the best!
