Is this Neuropathy?
I have been dealing with lower, lower back pain, shooting pain and needles going down my legs, the left one is the worst. It goes down my legs into my feet and my feet feels like bricks, it's hard to drive because I can't hold my feet on the gas that long. I can't wear sandals, one of my foot will come out and I want even know it. I tell my dr. and all she keep saying is your drinking could be causing this. I see these commercials and they decribes all of my symtoms to the tee. Maybe I should see a neuropathy person because I am tired of losing balance and not feeling my feet.

Welcome @txharris2, I'm a patient like yourself so unable to say whether or not it is neuropathy. You will probably have to see a neurologist and have some tests done to determine the cause of your shooting pain and needles going down into the legs. It does sound a lot like sciatica pain but any kind of nerve compression in the spine can cause neuropathy type pain. Here's some information from Mayo Clinic on sciatica - https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/sciatica/symptoms-causes/syc-20377435.
Have you been seen by a neurologist or had any X-rays or other tests on your lower back or spine?
