Hello,
I have tingling that comes and goes especially in my legs, hands, my arms fall asleep easily, I’ve been dealing with sciatica pain in my left leg and back pain, my memory is horrible, I’ll get here panicking attack like symptoms lye itchiness, chills, and a tightness/lump in my throat semi guy out of nowhere and I cry for no real reason, feeling sad and my sleep schedule is horrible. My doctor says this is all anxiety and I’m seeing a psychologist but my psychologist thinks my physical symptoms are extreme. Can anyone say they have been through the same thing? What needed up being the diagnosis?

Have you seen a neurologist for full evaluation, testing and imaging?

Did you get a MRI of your brain, cervical spine and lumbar spine? Have you seen an orthopedic spine specialist?

My dentist gave me some advice many years ago when I was having a hellava time getting anywhere with neurologists, they are the most wishy washy consultants in the health service. If your symptoms are in the main neurological, then hard as it maybe, keep trying to get some sort of answer from them. The advice he gave me was "Neurologists!!, you have to hammer the doors down". I think he is right, but don't be put off by your GP saying It's anxiety, of course there is anxiety. Any reasonable person, with the symptoms you mention, would have a screw loose if they didn't have anxiety about their undiagnosed condition. Don't give up, and don't be bullied by some GP who finds it easier to put it all down to anxiety because he's got a busy workload. Don't ask, tell him you want a referral to a neurologist. I was told by 3 Neurologists that nothing was wrong before eventually finding a neurologist who diagnosed me with Muscular Systems Atrophy. Now don't be worried if you look that up, you certainly don't want to have it, but only between 4 and 5 in every 100,000 have this condition, so It's extremely unlikely you have that. If you have unexplained symptoms, It's not unreasonable to want to have them explained. Best of luck my friend. Graham.
