@genabee42788 Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. We aren't medical professionals here so we cannot provide one another with medical advice. We do provide support often based on our health-related experiences.
I couldn't say if what you are experiencing is anxiety. I know that spinal stenosis can compress nerves and so it's possible that the numbness and tinging you felt earlier this year is due to that. The more recent physical symptoms you've been having sound very distressing to me. With that and not knowing what is going on no wonder you feel anxious and have having anxiety attacks. Did anxiety cause the physical symptoms? In my experience medical providers want to eliminate all physical reasons for symptoms through differential diagnosis. The MRI and now the EMG are part of that process. I hope you will continue to advocate for yourself and not allow the medical providers to try and convince you that your symptoms are all due to anxiety.
When is the EMG scheduled? And when is your next medical appointment with your medical provider?
EMG is this coming up Wednesday and mri of T spine and L spine is October.
@genabee42788 Will you let me know what you find out from the EMG next Wednesday? Thanks for letting me, too, about your MRI of the spine in October.
