Is there anything I personally can do to prevent OSTEO NECROSIS WHILE

I am on Prolia but need Teeth extracted I have Gum Disease but I am terrified of Osteo Necrosis of the Jaw .
Which is a real possibility..
Can I take measures to avoid this..I have Severe Osteoporosis with Spontaneous Fractures so I can't stop Prolia...🙏

@lane73 As you would expect greater minds have considered this subject previously. Here is some guideline info for you. Your dental surgeon and your PCP or whom ever is prescribing your meds need to communicate and devise a care plan for you.

@jenatsky thank you for this information...it has put an end to my thinking of a drug holiday as I am prone to Spontaneous Fractures and therefore it would be unwise but I was considering it....unfortunately my Doctor dismisses my fears of ONJ and tells me its rear...I will have to rely on the Dentist I have to work with..I have requested a Consultation and will post my results..I do appreciate the information and have bookmarked certain things I need to relate...🙏😊
