Is there a campus shuttle schedule at Mayo Jacksonville?

Posted by altc321 @altc321, Sep 3, 2024

I have two appointments in two different buildings at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville ( Mangurian and Cannaday). Is there a shuttle scheduled that I can access to see if the shuttle would work for me?

When I was there, I was under the impression that the shuttle ran continuously because I didn’t really have to wait. There’s a shuttle tracker, but pretty sure that’s run by a third party.

You could try calling Patient Travel Services to ask: https://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/travel-services.

You should be able to take the shuttle from those two buildings (they are on opposite ends of the campus). I only had to go to Mangurian once, so I’m sorry I’m not 100% sure. But I remember I walked from Cannaday in the connected internal walkway all the way to the end, then I had to exit and kind of walk past the parking garage (you could also walk through it) and Mangurian was on the other side.

You can ask for wheelchair transportation if needed too.

Shuttles run continuously throughout the campus, not on any clock schedule. Waits are typically less than 5 to 10 minutes. There are shelters at most non-building stops and most drivers will stop in between. As an aside, the JAX campus is very walkable and unless you have medical conditions preventing walking, I encourage walking unless the weather is prohibitive. We actually walk the campus between appointments for exercise and a chance to be outside…
