Is Reclast just 1 dose or has to be multiple?

I need to understand the dosing of Reclast better. I am coming off Evenity and need further medication. Can Reclast be used as 1 dose, then I would follow up with another drug (hopefully Evenity again) Or does Reclast need to given for a longer length of time, say up to 3 years? Is just one dose enough to lock in gains?

I’ve been told by two rheumatologists that I’ve had the lions share of Reclast - I think probably 7 or 8 infusions - and will likely have another this year.

I started with 5 doses in five years and had a drug holiday for
two or three years based on my docs belief that my t-scores had improved (an incorrect DEXA).

However, the next DEXA put my numbers back in line and I was again awarded the Reclast Medal. Two additional infusions and the discovery of (4) vertebral frax and enter the mighty mighty Tymlos and Evenity.

Not too worried about femur and hip frax - if you’ve read about my fall last October it explains it.

I hope whatever meds, if any, you choose, you find an effective one. Cheers!
