Is Celcept used for Autoimmune Heptitis?
My daughter is in Liver failure at 35 she also has lupus the doctor put her on celcept and another dr said it was not proven effective. She had five drinks month ago with some friends so he’s claiming she’s an alcoholic and that’s what did her liver and and thinking it’s the hepatitis that she’s had for five years not being treated correctly because my daughter would have a drink or two every now and then, even though yes, she should not drink Nothing like an alcoholic, so I’m just wondering on the Celcept. She also just had an E. coli infection That almost killed her

I am 38 and hardly ever drank in my life either and I have autoimmune hepatitis and they give me cellcept also. I had something else the first time and I had bad reaction to it so I got switched. I also had to have gastric bypass surgery so I could lose some weight and hopefully reverse the fatty liver I have that is making it worst. My numbers are ok. I got one that is still a little high but I'm hoping with weight loss it will come down. The medication makes your vulnerable to everything including skin cancer. Hopefully she isn't on it forever. They told me a few years then I might be able to come off it.
