Is anyone using the Menostar patch?

I have been on Menostar for 5 months for osteoporosis. I just started taking 50 mcg of progesterone cream. Since I don't have a uterus, I thought taking it alone would be alright. The medication insert seems to say that even with a uterus you can take it alone. I still have my ovaries, cervix and one tube. I have a history of endometriosis. In the last month, I have had right abdominal pain and an enlarged right tube. I'm hoping that the progesterone will help this. It sure helps me sleep. Good luck with the Menostar.

I still have my uterus. My doctor prescribed 14 tabs progestin once every 3 months.

How does the progesterone cream work? Is that systemic or local?
