Inverse Psoriasis OTC Treatments?

Do OTC products like CeraVe Psoriasis wash and cream help with the itching associated with Inverse Psoriasis? They do contain Salicylic acid.

I have fairly severe Psoriasis and treat it with 5%
cortisone cream, which relieves but does not
cure. I see these ads about beetroot powder
and liquid. I hesitate to use it because nothing
seems to work. Can you tell me anything about
the effectiveness of beet root? And, of course,
anything that will stop or ease Psoriasis?
