Intense itching upper arms no relief

Never heard of it going to read up on it.
Been having itching for 2 weeks.

I’ve had the itching at night. Fair skinned and never a problem until the last 6 months or so. I take an antihistamine at night that slows the nervous system down and the trick is a warm shower or bath and don’t start itching 🙂

Fair as well been going over 2 weeks. However as a child I had a lot of trouble with hives. I am hoping what ever it was it has not been triggered again.
Yes at night or late in day the worst. Been waking up around 4am itching.
Wish my mother was still alive so I could talk with her.

Use ice packs.

Talk to your doctor about a higher dose of non drowsy anti histamines. Allegra or generic fexofenadine for example. Took me 4 tabs a day, 2 am and 2 pm to get rashes, hives and itching under control. Cleared this dose with my docs.

with cumulative sun exposure and damage. The other element of causality is arthritis or possible impingement of nerves at the level of
of our neck. Start with a dermatology
consult and Xray of the neck. Posture may play a role. Topical creams and prescriptions are the first line of treatment.

HI, my wife has BRP. Probably about 30 yers now. Took multiple dermatologists to figure ut what she had. There is no known cure. And to be honest if you were diagnosed with BRP, whoever did it is a keeper.
My wife had seen a Dr at NYU Langone for about 15 years at least. Tried everything, pills, cremes shots, light therapy, acupuncture. The list goes on. Nothing cured it. Someone on this site had suggested Capzasin HP. She uses that with ENBREL, which is a numbing creme. The Capzasin does burn. IT helps but it is only temporary.
The Capzasin is hard to come by lately.
I am writing this for her because in addition she suffers from RP. Retinitis Pigmentosa. Which has caused her to go nearly blind.
