Intense itching on Brinsupri

I’ve been on Brinsupri 6 months and all my coughing has stopped plus last CT scan showed great improvement BUT now have intense itching. Derm Dr had no answers. I have a history of basal and squamous cell skim cancers. My precancerous spots have exploded in numbers. I can deal with having spots burned off but having trouble tolerating the itching. On 25 mg and coat myself with thick lotions/balms. Anyone have some ideas of what to do? thx!!

If you had a true allergy to Brinsupri wouldn't that have shown up right away?

Have you tried taking a daily antihistamine? That and looking for any subtle changes you may have made in your routine (change in detergent etc). Otherwise, go off Brinsupri for a few months and see if that helps. That's a more certain way to figure out if the itching is due to brinsupri.

Where are you itchy? If it's all over I'd contact my PCP soon.
