Hi @ecc79, I have not tried one but I've read about it and posted some information in another discussion here: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/neuropathy-1/?pg=1#comment-83823
I don't have pain with my neuropathy but I have thought about getting a smaller infrared sauna not only for neuropathy but for "warming up" in the Winter here in Minnesota. Are you considering getting a sauna for therapy?
Hi John, thanks for the quick reply. I am looking into sauna therapy for PN. Trying to research and see if there is real benefit or not. Thanks for the links. As long as it doesn’t increase pain I can certainly justify one for the warming up effect also as getting through these Canadian winters can drag on and I also find myself looking to warm up somehow.
I'VE HAD ADVANCED PN FOR YEARS WITH NO SUGGESTIONS TO CONTROL VARIOUS SYMPTOMS (PAIN, INSTABILITY, ETC.). MY WIFE HAS A VERY NICE/LARGE INFRARED SAUNA. I'LL TRY IT. THANKS. JOHN
