Infection and fever after chemo and immuno

Anyone experience infection and high fever after chemo and immuno combination (carbo and keytruda). Ended up in ER in a bad state? Especially after blood counts low from chemo.

My fever was only moderate but I required two units off blood because my numbers were so low.

@strongone21, I'm so sorry to hear that this happened. I'm glad you recognized that things were not right, and that you were able to get your husband to the ER. These meds can be very effective, but they can also take a toll on our bodies. Is his team continuing with this treatment? When is his next treatment scheduled?
