Increasing meds

Posted by franthony @franthony, May 2, 2019

Yesterday my ID doc's office called and said that now, 11 months into treatment with the big three, I still have “some MAC”, and to start taking them every single day. Has this particular course of action happened to anyone else?

@franthony My treatment was the opposite- started with seven days a week and then went to three days/week. So yes, it does happen. (irene5)

Thank you for letting me know. I was really looking forward to hopefully being done and starting to treat the aspergillus. Sigh.
