In praise of Orgovyx No. 2

Posted by surftohealth88 @surftohealth88, Jun 23 11:28am

North already made very nice thread praising Orgovyx so I will just confirm in my post that it really works great and fast and so far with no SA - Mr. Surf is on it now for about 4 and a half weeks.

We had official test done for testosterone and PSA yesterday and results are :

Testosterone : 6

uPSA : LESS than 0.006

So, today we will celebrate a tiny victory of no side effects and a really nice control of PC ๐Ÿงฟ๐Ÿ€ : ))) *knock the wood

In couple of days he will start Nubeqa too.

Tomorrow he is having trans-rectal (*ughhhh ) gold bead placement in the pelvic area. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Hopefully sRT will start in 4 weeks.

Fantastic! So happy for you both.

Thanks everybody for rooting for us ๐Ÿฅฐ ! It means a lot !!!

Thanks @melvinw for sharing your case with me in another thread since it helped us decide to push for early PSMA scan which in return proved to be super correct decision ๐Ÿ‘. Thanks God we did not wait for uPSA to go over 0.2 !!!

Thank you @ucla2025 for giving us update about Orgovyx and Nubeqa and about great response of your husband - that information made me determined to fight for Nubeqa for my husband too ๐Ÿ˜˜.

Some unsolicited advice: while you're deservedly celebrating these great numbers ๐ŸŽ‰, don't forget to celebrate other things in your lives as well.

Next week will be my 20th round of quarterly PSA and bloodwork since I was diagnosed in 2021. It's early days still for you guys, but this monitoring thing is a marathon, not a sprint.

In due time, you will want your life *not* to centre around waiting for the next test result, and a little early practice now couldn't hurt.

Thanks North for words of wisdom : ))) !
Luckily it is only me whose mood is effected by "results" ; ) - my husband is ALWAYS in great mood and always ready to celebrate and has a great ability to compartmentalize problems : ))). He is still immersed in his creative businesses, does many sports, goes out with me everywhere and we snuggle and have fun at night.

But, alas, we humans can not choose what we feel or how we react ๐Ÿ˜‰, so beside me having a lobotomy I can not feel any other way . I do not even mind at all lol - as long as my husband has adequate care and has good results, I am VERY happy - other things are really of not much importance for me.

Yes, every day that we live and are together is a cause of celebration ๐Ÿ‘, but when bad results come there is absolutely NO reason for me to be happy - I would actually find it to be unnatural reaction. for me (or anybody really) .

BTW, I am in this "mood" only here ; ). "At home" I live full and active life ("in between" scans, results and treatments ). As our Jeff @jeffmarc often says " Nobody would guess" lol ; ).

Hi Bikeman ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ! Thanks for stopping by - how are you doing ? ๐ŸŒบ
I hope that your RT is going smoothly : ))) and that you have easy time with your ADT too ๐Ÿ€ : ).
Any special tips for RT beside known ones lol (full bladder, empty bowel) ? Lucky you with your schedule - you will be done with RT by the end of July ? : ))) We are still waiting for them to make final plans *sigh...
