Looking to hear of other’s experiences of ENHERTU chemo

My sister was diagnosed stage 4 oesophageal cancer last 2018. She is now on Enhurtu chemotherapy and wanted any input from those on the same treatment plan.

Hi @jane59, I hope your sister is doing well. Changing treatments is always nerve racking. I wish her and your family the best! We've had some discussions in the lung cancer group related to ENHURTU, but HER2 lung cancer is fairly rare. Is your sister's esophageal cancer HER2+?

Thank you for your kind words Yes her cancer is Her2 positive and she reacted well to Herceptin in her first line of treatment.

Thank you for this. Yes she’s on her fourth round of Enhurtu and tolerating it well. On steroids for the first few days following which gives a boost in energy. Then she has a few days of depleted energy and is better again in the days leading up to the chemo again. She has had a feeding tube for over a year and also a stent. She’s able to eat some soft foods also.
