Idiopathic SFN and onset of carpal tunnel syndrome
I'm always adjusting to changes in my abilities related to SFN. But I wasn't prepared for carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm waking every night with complete numbness in one hand, with a deep aching pain. It subsides with movement. It occurs in both hands, with no apparent pattern. I understand what carpal tunnel is. I'm just confused about why I have developed it, with no changes to my routine or activity. The only thing I've noticed is twitching that has developed in my extremities – myoclonus.
I have a nerve conduction study scheduled for this week, followed by a visit with my excellent neurologist. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
