I need some advice or some idea of what I'm dealing with

I have a hard lump on the left side of my jaw line and I would like to know what I'm dealing with and how to sort it out. At first it started as really bad tooth ache then it was a cyst .After the cyst went I noticed a little soft movable lump a couple day's later and now the lump is as hard as a rock and no longer movable

You need to see a doctor, and potentially a referral to some kind of specialist.

@connordowie12. Have you seen your GP/Primary care provider about the lump? Like @tomschwerdt I think this something that would best be seen by a specialist such as an otolargyngologist, sometimes referred to as ENT (ear, nose, and throat) physician.

We are not going to give you a diagnosis here. We are not doctors, we are patients. We can help you deal with diagnosis, treatments, and after effects. But you need to take the first step to get checked out.
Doing nothing and hope it will go away usually doesn’t work out well. Regret comes from those who put off diagnosis and treatment until they could no longer continue on with the issue they have. This is followed by the statement “I should have gone to the doctor when this first appeared.”
Courage.

Sounds pretty much like mine. Lump was movable went to my doctor and she set me up to have ultra sound done on it. After that biopsy on it then biopsy of my left tonsil. Surgery in Oct both tonsils out left one cancer removed tissue from back of throat the surgery on my neck. 43 lymph nodes removed one positive with cancer. I opt out with radiation because of all the homework I did. So far so good. Good luck.

Welcome to Connect connordowie12. As fellow patients with experience in head and neck cancer, we can share our experiences with you but certainly cannot provide a diagnosis. Do not delay, but start with your pcp or dentist and get some testing done. This may require referral to a specialist and that can take time in itself. Most of us with head and neck cancer realize that the sooner we got our diagnosis, the better our chances of having a successful treatment. Have you been to a doctor about this issue yet?
