i need opinions on what this could be/how to fix
i went on the medicine phentermine for weight loss a month ago and I also started UV tanning after workouts a couple weeks it’s ago. But recently I have been super itchy nonstop to the point where my skin is turning into purple rashes after lightly scratching it, and if i don’t scratch it my body aches. I also have the skin condition called psoriasis so it could be from that too, but I just don’t know. I just need help figuring out what it is. so any advice help or anything would be appreciated.

alexiss083, phentermine can cause severe itching and rash. It is thought to be an allergic reaction which might respond to an antihistamine. Topical cortisone could relieve the itch, but you don't want to use it long term.

2 ReactionsThat is too bad that you are having these issues! How uncomfortable for you! You probably should see a doctor regarding them. Also quit the weightloss medicine and the tanning. You may be reacting to them.
By the way, to lose weight just count calories. It works and it's cheaper than medicine. Also by counting calories, you can eat healthy things and things that you really like; even sweet things; just not so much.
Take your problems to God. He made you and he can fix you! Just talk to him like he's your best friend and he is! I'll say a prayer for you also.
I wish you the best.

I developed a sudden skin condition in February primarily on my arms, but I had itchy pimply areas in many other parts of my body. I used natural healing gels and my own homemade salves. They provided some relief but then in a May the rash on my arms flared up and weeping so bad I went to EMERG because I thought I developed an infection. Doc told me I had a severe case of eczema and prescribed a topical corticosteroid (betamethazone) I had known about these drugs, but avoided it for 3 months. It definitely works on eczema. Used it for 3 months and stopped because I was afraid of systemic adrenal insufficiency. I started using the less potent OTC hydrocortisone.
Then, came the miracle. A friend introduced me to the Budwig protocol - 2 T organic cold pressed flax oil, mixed/emulsified into a cultured milk product (I used my homemade kefir)- basically a smoothy; I add banana or other fruits. Did this twice a day and had noticeable results in less than a week. After 2 weeks, my skin was vastly improved. It’s not totally healed yet but no more bad flare ups.
I stopped for a few weeks for reasons too long to share, but the skin started acting up again. I’m back doing this and it really works for me.
Something to try. You can look up the Budwig Protocol on the internet.
BTW, the key is the cultured dairy because it feeds on the oil and makes it more bioavailable to your body.
