@kekimmel Thanks. I'll look into it. What problem do you have? Is it some kind of neuropathy? My balance is becoming progressively worse over time due to neuropathy.

Please tell me what extern braces I are as have never heard of them. And, are they very helpful for my daily walking (balance etc). I do have problems with my balance and I use a cane and walker now for getting around.
Thank you in advance for informing me about those braces.

I have had a balance problem for years and was diagnosed with Meniere's. I can't walk a straight line. If I start feeling disoriented or dizzy, taking decongestants can help. At least one dr. called it a "gait problem." These braces are interesting but how can I evaluate whether they would help with my type of balance problem? I have had some some nerve conduction studies but no one has mentioned neuropathy.

@kekimmel On your post...interesting. I did start with slight neuropathy in 2009 bottom of left foot. By 2013, started on right. I fell off a ladder in 2014 and in 2015 PN got worse with bilateral drop foot. How did the doctor determine the drop foot was caused by fall, was it strictly related to damage to spine? I've had a feeling for years the PN and my drop foot have two different causes. I have idiopathic axonal PN and drop foot is giving me issues with very poor balance. I do wear AFO's which help with balance and drop foot.
