I have low iron, high b12 and ferritin and low transferrin. Why?

Low iron low transferrin...elevated b12 and ferritin. Anyone else experience this and what's the reason?

@mommabear1337 I wish you well. How high is your Serum Ferritin level? Have you been given IV Iron Infusions?

@guyjeff123 iron infusions in june2025...ferritin is 539 last Tuesday

Were you tested for Hemochromatosis ? How high was your ferritin at it's peak and did the doctor who was giving you IV Iron infusions check your ferritin regularly? I don't mean to pry, I'm just looking for parallels with my situation. God bless you.

hemochromatosis would be iron over load. How would giving more iron help that?

Honestly I'm not understanding what is going on...I've been off iron and b12 since July?
