I have liver cancer: What next?

Hi @donnabl, hearing that you have cancer is scary. Liver cancer can be treated in many different ways. Transplant is only one treatment option.

Do you know what type of liver cancer you have and what stage? Are you being seen at a cancer center? How are you doing?

It is a scary diagnosis I know. If you can get to a transplant center like Mayo, you may be able to get treatment to shrink or otherwise treat your tumor. It is important to see someone at a teaching hospital as they work with a team approach and you get the benefit of several specialists all looking at your case together.
