Hello @donnabl i am so sorry to hear you have Covid. At least you will be over it before your Y90 treatment in September. Have you been told not to take Tylenol by your docs? Sometimes a cool washcloth can bring some relief for a headache but of course it will do nothing for body aches. Thinking of you and hoping you feel better soon.

Hello @donnabl I am so glad you are going to get that tumor treated. I was treated with ablation but considered for Y90 before that was decided. There is lots of info on Y90. Here are some links from Mayo. https://www.mayoclinichealthsystem.org/hometown-health/speaking-of-health/targeted-radiation-therapy

Wishing you the best results and assuring you that you are getting top notch quality care at Mayo.

Well a little about my self I got my gallbladder removed in 2018 and mind you it broke open and I was in the hospital for 5 days almost at deaths door but I can out of it and when the Dr came in told me that I had a fatty liver I didn't ask much more and she didn't tell me anything more it's just a fatty liver so I go on with my life then in 2023 I start getting bad back pain hurt to lay on my right side plus I was having bad stomach pains so I go to the ER and they did a MRI and found a tumor on liver so that was in November of 2023 and the sent me to do a biopsy and it was cancer told me I need a liver transplant so I was getting my body ready for a transplant then they did a brian and bone scan to see if it spreading but it was ok the Dr said then I started getting ready to go to Minnesota to get on the transplant list and all turned around and went to good to worse so I can't get the transplant be cause the tumer grew over the limit of the transplant 😭 but now I have a second opinion to do the Y90 treatment so I'm heading up to Minnesota in September kinda scared I'll have it all done in a week hopefully the tumor gets smaller to the point I can get a liver transplant so yes that my story of my cancer I have my kids by my side im greatfull for that sending prayers to all with cancer
