Allergy to the metal maybe…try ceramic! I had two left total knee replacements then discovered I was allergic to the metal and they replaced them with ceramic, I don’t have any more problems.

I have been in search of someone with first hand experience with ceramic TKR. I am so happy to learn that a ceramic implant can be successful.
Do you recall the "brand" of implant, are both knees the same?
Did you have robotic surgery, what brand?
Were your surgeries done in the US?
How was your recovery from surgery?
I thank you in advance for any information you can share!

I don’t know the name brand, it is probably in the paperwork someplace. No robotics, Dr. Clarke at Mayo in Arizona did both knees, my recovery was quick and I don’t have trouble with walking …I exercise on my Cubii each day and so glad they discovered what my problem was and were able to fix it!
