Deep breath…..
I’m sorry you’re going through this! I can’t tell you how many times I have been treated badly by a professional, called the person out and ended up being sorry I did it.
You don’t need a lawyer to report this dentist to the medical board. I don’t know where you live but there is oversight of every profession.
Also, most places have free or low cost legal help.
Feel free to PM me if you want some help but don’t want to post publicly.

I’m still recovering from a proverbial nightmare because of an evil dentist, I live in Canada and a few years ago they offered dental care for people who didn’t have any coverage. I was so happy with my new dental plan and I found a new dentist who was very comfortable and charming so I started going to her for some well needed care. Everything seemed fine for a while and I noticed that there were a lot of seniors like me going there and everyone liked her a lot. I noticed later that she wasn’t very careful with protecting me from exposure to germs and she didn’t wear her mask all the time, naturally I got sick several times and even though I complained about it she just didn’t change anything, I was passed along to other people working there and they were not doing good work. Eventually I decided to leave and go somewhere else, this is when all hell broke loose, my story is very long and I can’t explain everything but long story short, I found out that she was stealing from my account for work that was never done, she became abusive when she called me and made many threats, I did what I could and it’s taken me the last two years to recover from this horrible experience. I’ve had problems with other dentists in the past but this person is truly a monster and I hope no one else gets hurt by her.

I'm so sorry this happened to you! What is going on with dentists and doctors these days? I always thought people in those professions were honest! That is awful what they did to you and then not agreeing to give you dental care! Mery's suggestions were very good. They will probably help in your situation. Also if you live near a university they may have a dental school. That would be easier for you to get into and they often work out a payment plan that fits your situation.
I wish you the best.

@frouke What an awful thing to have happen to you! I'm so sorry to hear that you went through that! Stealing from your account and threatening you! That is terrible! And she seemed so nice at first! I'm glad you are away from that awful dental team! And not being clean too! What is this world coming to? Well, we know what it's coming to and it's not good. It becomes more apparent every day that we are in the end times. However, it does appear in that situation that God was with you and you were able to get away from that hateful dentist! I hope you never have anything like that to deal with again! I'll say a prayer for you.

Dear PML, Amen to that, the world is truly in turmoil and it really frightens me, nothing is going right anymore and for a long time I thought that it was just me going through future fear however I realized soon enough that my fears are viable. I had a blessing during the torment that I was going through with the evil dentist, I was speaking to a young man in security asking him what I should do because I was so scared, he started telling me what steps I should take and then suddenly he said that God wanted him to tell me not to be afraid and He was with me protecting me. I just started crying and felt such a relief going through me, the man said that he wasn’t allowed to do this but he felt such a strong need to let me know God’s message. Honestly I feel so much better afterwards, I always pray to God for help and I am often reminded that He hears my prayers. Thank you for reaching out to me and for your prayers and support, blessings to you always, Frouke.
